Tormano can sync with your personal or shared inbox so emails sent from CRM go through your real account, and replies come back automatically.
Why connect
- Replies land in your real inbox where you'll see them.
- Outbound CRM emails come from your real address, not a no-reply.
- The recipient can reply, forward, archive normally.
- Recent emails between you and a contact show on the contact's timeline automatically.
Supported providers
- Gmail (personal and Google Workspace) — via IMAP/SMTP with App Passwords. Set up at Google Account > Security > App Passwords.
- Microsoft 365 / Outlook — OAuth 2.0 via Microsoft Graph API.
- Generic IMAP/SMTP — any provider that supports standard mail protocols (Fastmail, Zoho Mail, Apple iCloud, custom domain hosts).
Where to connect
/email-sync or Settings > Integrations > Email Sync. Click Connect, walk through the auth flow, and pick which folders to sync (typically Inbox + Sent).
What syncs
- Inbound and outbound messages between your address and any CRM contact.
- Auto-link to contact records by email address (including CC/BCC matches).
- Configurable lookback (default 30 days; can be 7-365 days).
Privacy and isolation
Synced emails are visible only to you (or to your team if you mark them shared). Per-org isolation is strict — your emails don't leak to other Tormano orgs ever.
Shared inboxes
For team-level addresses (info@, support@), one team member connects the account and grants other members access. Replies can come from any granted member.
