P2P fundraising lets your supporters create personal fundraising pages and ask their networks to give on your behalf. Walks, runs, birthday fundraisers, memorial campaigns.
Creating a P2P campaign
/nonprofit/p2p > + New Campaign. Configure:
- Campaign name, description, goal, deadline.
- Branding — logo, hero image, theme color.
- Whether participants need approval before their pages go live.
- Whether participants can set their own goals or use the master goal.
How supporters join
Share the campaign signup link. Supporters fill in their name, email, optional photo, and a "why I'm raising money" story. Tormano creates an individual P2P page at <your-org>.tormano.com/p2p/[campaign-slug]/[participant-slug] they can share.
How donations flow
Donations to a participant's page are credited to:
- The participant (for the leaderboard and their personal goal).
- The master campaign (rolls up to the master goal thermometer).
- Soft-credited to your CRM contact for the participant.
Leaderboards
The campaign page shows a public leaderboard of participants by amount raised. Toggle off in campaign settings if your culture is more collaborative than competitive.
Each participant gets
- A personal dashboard showing their progress.
- Email templates to send to friends and family.
- Social share buttons pre-populated with their unique URL.
- Real-time donation notifications.
