TormanoEvery event tracks its attendees on its Registrations tab. The list shows each person’s name, email, ticket, and status, and each row lets you check them in or resend their ticket.
Registering an attendee
On the Registrations tab, add a registration, search for the contact by name or email, and register them. Each event has one capacity, and once it is full, later registrants are marked waitlisted.
Ticket type and amount
Each registration carries one ticket type label of your own wording, such as General or VIP, and an amount paid. Tormano records one ticket price per event and does not sell tickets online. For tiered tickets and online sales, use Eventbrite and sync the registrations in: see Connect Eventbrite.
Recording what an attendee paid
Your team adds registrations on the Registrations tab, or syncs them in from Eventbrite, and records what each attendee paid: an amount paid and a payment status of Pending, Paid, or Refunded.
If the money arrived as a donation, through your online donation form or a check you entered, use Paid With Gift on the registration to pick that gift. From then on:
- The amount and paid status are filled in from the gift, and a figure you typed yourself is never overwritten.
- If that gift is later refunded, the registration is marked refunded and the event’s revenue drops to match.
- The seat is not released. Whether a refunded attendee is still coming is your call, so change the registration status yourself.
An event’s total revenue is the sum of the amounts paid across its paid registrations.
Emailing attendees
From the Registrations tab, send your registrants a message with a subject and body: a reminder before the event, or a recap afterward. Filter who receives it by registration status.
