Events in Tormano cover any gathering — fundraising galas, 5K walks, classes, workshops, board meetings.
Creating
From the Events page, click + New Event (the same form opens from + Quick Create > Event). Required fields:
- Event Name — what attendees will see.
- Event Type — the kind of event.
- Start Date + End Date (with time).
Optional
- Location — a physical location; you can also mark the event virtual and add a link.
- Status — e.g. draft vs published.
- Capacity — max registrations.
- Description — long-form details.
- Ticket price and a fundraising goal amount.
- Campaign / Fund attribution and custom fields.
Managing the event
Saving opens the event detail page, which has two tabs: Overview (all the details above) and Registrations (who's signed up, plus check-in). You can register attendees, email them, and track attendance from there.
