Contact and company records include a Company news panel that automatically surfaces recent headlines about that company, pulled live from Google News. It loads on its own when you open the record — nothing to connect or configure.
Each headline links to the article and shows the publication, how long ago it ran, and a signal tag when Tormano recognizes the type of news: Funding (raises, rounds, IPO), Leadership (executive hires or changes), M&A (acquisitions and mergers), Growth (expansions, launches, partnerships, contract wins), and Risk (layoffs, lawsuits, investigations). Those tags help you spot the moments that matter for outreach and timing.
On a contact, the panel follows the contact’s linked company, so you get relevant context on the person’s employer without leaving the record. On a company/account, it tracks that organization directly. Results are cached for a short window so the feed loads quickly and stays polite to the source. This kind of live company-signal feed is something other CRMs typically reserve for paid add-on tiers; in Tormano it is built in and free.
