Connecting WooCommerce

Turn every WooCommerce order and customer into a Tormano contact with purchase history.

3 min read · Updated Jul 7, 2026

Connect your WooCommerce store and every order, plus every new customer, becomes a Tormano contact with their full purchase history. New orders flow in automatically, and each contact shows their orders, total spent, and last order. It is free and needs no WooCommerce app review.

Getting your API keys

In your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API and click Add key. Give it a description, choose a user with access to orders, set Permissions to Read/Write, and click Generate API key. Copy the Consumer key and Consumer secret (the secret is shown only once).

Connecting

In Tormano, go to Settings > Integrations > WooCommerce, paste your store URL, consumer key, and consumer secret, then click Connect. Tormano checks the keys and automatically sets up the order and customer webhooks on your store. Your keys are stored encrypted.

What syncs

  • Orders: each new or updated order creates or updates a contact (matched by billing email), records the order, its line items, total, and status, and adds a note to the contact timeline.
  • Customers: a new customer who registers without ordering still becomes a contact.
  • Purchase history: the contact page shows a Purchase history panel with total spent, order count, and recent orders.

Duplicate deliveries are ignored automatically, and existing contact details are never overwritten (only blank fields are filled in).

Backfilling past orders

Click Import recent orders to pull your most recent orders into Tormano in one step.

Removing the integration

Click Disconnect on the same page. Tormano removes the webhooks it created and stops syncing.
