TormanoConnect your Shopify store and every order, plus every new customer, becomes a Tormano contact with their full purchase history. New orders arrive on their own, and each contact shows their orders, total spent, and last order. It is free and takes about five minutes.
Creating a custom app in Shopify
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps and click Create an app. You may need to click Allow custom app development first.
- Name it Tormano CRM.
- Under the app’s permissions, allow it to read orders and read customers, then save.
- Click Install app, open API credentials, and copy the Admin API access token.
The token is shown only once, so copy it before you leave the page. If your admin looks different, search Shopify help for “create a custom app”.
Connecting
In Tormano, go to Settings > Integrations > Shopify, enter your shop address, such as your-store.myshopify.com, and the access token, then click Connect. Tormano checks the token and starts receiving new orders automatically. Your token is stored encrypted.
What syncs
- Orders: each new or updated order creates or updates a contact, matched on email, and records the order, what was in it, the total, and its status, with a note on the contact’s timeline.
- Customers: someone who signs up without ordering still becomes a contact.
- Purchase history: the contact’s page shows total spent, how many orders, and the most recent ones.
Orders are never double-counted, and details already on a contact are never overwritten: only blank fields are filled in.
Backfilling past orders
Click Import recent orders to bring your most recent orders into Tormano in one step.
Removing the integration
Click Disconnect on the same page, and orders stop arriving.
