Tormano integrates with Slack so your team gets a message the moment things happen in the CRM, routed to the channels you choose.
Setup
Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack and click to connect your Slack workspace. You authorize the Tormano Slack app via OAuth, and on return the page shows the channels Tormano can post to (invite the Tormano bot to any private channel you want it to reach). Pick a default channel, then Save — a "Send test message" button confirms it's wired up.
Choosing what gets posted
Slack notifications are event-driven, configured on this settings page — not a workflow action. For each supported event you can toggle it on and pick which channel it posts to, so different events can land in different channels. There's also a large-gift threshold and a daily/weekly digest option.
Common patterns
- Route deal or donation events to a wins channel.
- Send large gifts (above your threshold) to a fundraising channel.
- Post a daily or weekly digest to a team channel.
Note: there is no "Send Slack message" step inside the Automation workflow builder — Slack routing is managed entirely from this integration page.
Removing the integration
Click Disconnect on the same page. Notifications stop until you reconnect.
