Post notifications to Slack

Tormano posts to Slack the moment things happen, in the channels you choose.

Setup

Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack and click Connect Slack, then approve Tormano in Slack. The page then lists the channels Tormano can post to. Invite the Tormano bot to any private channel you want it to reach. Pick a default channel and click Save. Send test message posts a test to that channel.

Choosing what gets posted

Slack alerts are set up here, not in Automations. Turn each event on and pick the channel it posts to, so different events land in different places. There is also a large-gift threshold and a daily or weekly digest.

Common patterns

• Send deals and donations to a wins channel.
• Send gifts above your threshold to a fundraising channel.
• Post a daily or weekly digest to a team channel.

Removing the integration

Click Disconnect on the same page. Notifications stop until you reconnect.
