Slack notifications

Tormano integrates with Slack so workflows can post notifications to your team channels.

Setup

Settings > Integrations > Slack > Add to Slack. OAuth flow, you authorize the Tormano Slack app, and on return you see a list of channels Tormano can post to. Pick which channels you want enabled.

Posting from workflows

In any workflow's action picker, choose Send Slack message. Configure:

• Channel — pick from the connected list.
• Message — supports merge fields like {{contact_first_name}} so each notification is personalized.
• Mentions — @username or @channel.

Common patterns

• Deal won celebration — post in #sales-wins with deal name, value, owner.
• Major gift alert — post in #fundraising for gifts over $1K with donor name and amount.
• High-priority support ticket — post in #support-urgent with ticket details.

Direct messages

You can also DM specific users — useful for notifying a deal owner about activity on their deal without spamming a channel.

Removing the integration

Settings > Integrations > Slack > Disconnect. All workflows that posted to Slack will fail until you reconnect or remove the action; configure how on a per-workflow basis.
