TormanoSync your contacts into a Mailchimp audience and keep opt-outs in step both ways. It works on any Mailchimp plan, including the free one.
Connecting
Go to Settings > Integrations > Mailchimp and click Connect with Mailchimp. Sign in to Mailchimp, approve access, and you return to Tormano already connected: nothing to copy or paste. Each person connects their own Mailchimp account, and Tormano never sees your Mailchimp password.
If you would rather not sign in that way, choose Advanced: connect with an API key and paste a key from Mailchimp > Account & billing > Extras > API keys. The key is stored encrypted.
Pick an audience
Choose which Mailchimp audience your contacts sync into. Picking one also sets up the first name, last name, and phone fields in Mailchimp and turns on two-way unsubscribe syncing.
Syncing contacts
- Sync all contacts now sends your opted-in contacts into the audience with their name and phone, tagged Tormano CRM.
- Turn on Automatically add new and updated contacts to keep the audience current as you work.
- Contacts Mailchimp rejects, usually an address that doesn’t work, are reported as skipped with the reason. Existing unsubscribes are never overwritten.
Two-way unsubscribes
When someone unsubscribes or changes their address in Mailchimp, Tormano updates that contact, so you always have the latest opt-out. Double opt-in audiences are honored: new contacts get Mailchimp’s confirmation email before they are subscribed.
Disconnecting
Settings > Integrations > Mailchimp > Disconnect stops all syncing. You can reconnect at any time.
