TormanoConnect Constant Contact to keep your email marketing and your records in step. Your contacts go into a Constant Contact list, unsubscribes come back so you never email someone who opted out, and each contact’s campaign opens and clicks appear on their timeline.
Connecting
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Constant Contact and click Connect Constant Contact.
- Sign in to Constant Contact and approve access. You are returned to Tormano.
- Choose which list your contacts should sync into, or click Create a “Tormano CRM” list to start a fresh one.
What syncs
- Contacts into Constant Contact. New and updated contacts join your chosen list with their first name, last name, and phone. Turn on Automatically add new and updated contacts to keep it hands-off, or click Sync all contacts now to send everyone at once. Only contacts who are opted in to email are sent.
- Unsubscribes back into Tormano. Someone who unsubscribes in Constant Contact is marked opted out here too, so they drop out of future sends.
- Opt-outs into Constant Contact. Opt a contact out in Tormano and they are unsubscribed in Constant Contact as well.
- Engagement. Campaign opens and clicks appear on each contact’s timeline and in a Constant Contact panel on their page.
Changes made in Constant Contact show up in Tormano within about 20 minutes, and nobody who has opted out is ever re-subscribed.
Billing
Constant Contact charges by the number of active contacts, so syncing a large list may move you up a plan there.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the Constant Contact page, and syncing stops.
