Constant Contact email sync

Two-way sync with Constant Contact: push contacts, pull unsubscribes, and see opens and clicks.

3 min read · Updated Jul 7, 2026

Connect Constant Contact to keep your email marketing and your CRM in step. Tormano pushes your contacts into a Constant Contact list, pulls unsubscribes back so you never email someone who opted out, and shows each contact's campaign opens and clicks on their timeline.

Connecting

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Constant Contact and click Connect Constant Contact.
  2. Sign in to Constant Contact and approve access. You are returned to Tormano.
  3. Choose which list your Tormano contacts should sync into, or click Create a "Tormano CRM" list to make a fresh one.

What syncs

  • Contacts to Constant Contact. New and updated contacts are added to your chosen list with their first name, last name, and phone. Turn on Automatically push new and updated contacts to keep it hands-off, or use Sync all contacts now to send everyone at once. Only contacts who are opted in to email in Tormano are pushed.
  • Unsubscribes back to Tormano. If someone unsubscribes in Constant Contact, Tormano marks them opted-out automatically so they drop out of future sends. This is checked about every 20 minutes.
  • Opt-outs to Constant Contact. If you opt a contact out in Tormano, Tormano unsubscribes them in Constant Contact too.
  • Engagement. Campaign opens and clicks appear on each contact's timeline and in a Constant Contact panel on their page, refreshed about every 20 minutes.

Notes

Constant Contact bills by the number of active contacts, so syncing large lists may affect your Constant Contact plan. Tormano never re-subscribes anyone who has opted out. To stop syncing, click Disconnect on the Constant Contact page.
