Tormano supports three Google integrations — sign-in, calendar sync, and email — each independent.
Google Sign-In (SSO)
Enable in Settings > Security > SSO. Once enabled, your team can click "Continue with Google" on the login page instead of using a password. Faster onboarding, fewer forgotten passwords. Supports Google Workspace and personal Google accounts.
Google Calendar Sync
Connect at /calendar-sync or Settings > Integrations > Calendar Sync. Bi-directional sync between your Google Calendar and Tormano:
- Tormano events (meetings booked, deal close dates, grant deadlines) push to Google.
- Google events sync back to Tormano with attendee email matching to CRM contacts.
- Per-account sync direction configurable (two-way / CRM-to-Google / Google-to-CRM).
- 30-day lookback to 90-day lookahead window.
Gmail / Email Sync
Connect at /email-sync or Settings > Integrations > Email Sync. Per Google's policy, full Gmail OAuth requires a costly verification process; Tormano supports Gmail via App Password + IMAP/SMTP instead — fully functional, no waiting period, and the donor experience is identical.
Generate an App Password at Google Account > Security > 2-Step Verification > App passwords, paste it into Tormano, done.
Token storage
All Google OAuth tokens and IMAP passwords are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM (BRV-1234). Decrypt-on-use only.
