TormanoTormano connects to Google for three separate things: sign-in, calendar, and Drive. Each is independent, and each asks Google only for what it needs.
In practice, Tormano can add its own meetings to your calendar and see when you are busy. It cannot read the details of your other events, and cannot read or send your email.
Google Sign-In
On the sign-in screen, click Continue with Google instead of typing a password. It works with Google Workspace accounts and personal Google accounts.
Google Calendar
Go to Settings > Calendar Accounts and click Connect Google.
Connecting creates a new calendar called Tormano CRM inside your Google account. Meetings booked through Tormano, whether from a contact record or from one of your public booking pages, are written into that calendar, so they appear in Google Calendar and on your phone alongside everything else. Reschedule or cancel in Tormano and the Google event follows.
Tormano also checks when you are busy across your calendars, so a booking page never offers a time you are already taken. It sees when you are booked and nothing else: not the title, not the guests, not the notes.
What Tormano can see
Tormano writes only to the Tormano CRM calendar it created, and cannot read, change, or delete anything on your other calendars. Your existing Google events are not copied into Tormano; the Events tab shows the meetings Tormano itself booked.
If you delete the Tormano CRM calendar in Google, reconnect from the settings page and a new one is made.
Email (Gmail)
Gmail is not connected through Google sign-in. Tormano never asks Google for access to your mailbox.
You can still connect a Gmail mailbox yourself with an app password: Settings > Email Accounts > Connect > “Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail or other”. Google generates that password for a single app at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords. Tormano never sees your real Google password, and you can revoke the app password at any time without touching anything else. See Connect your own inbox.
Connecting a mailbox is optional. Tormano sends your campaigns, receipts, and notifications either way.
Google Drive
Connect at Settings > Integrations > Google Drive. Tormano can save a file from a record into your Drive, and attach a Drive file to a record. It only ever touches files it created, or files you pick yourself.
Revoking access
Everything Tormano stores for a connected Google account is encrypted. You can revoke Tormano’s access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings.
