Two deadlines matter: submission (when the application is due) and reporting (when interim or final reports are due to the funder after award).
Automatic reminders
Tormano emails the grant owner at 30 days, 14 days, 7 days, and 1 day before each deadline. Configure who else gets CC'd in Settings > Notifications > Grants.
Upcoming deadlines view
The Grants dashboard has a "Next 60 days" panel listing every grant with a deadline in that window, sorted by date. Click any row to jump to the grant detail.
Calendar integration
If Calendar Sync is enabled, Tormano can push grant deadlines to your connected Google or Outlook calendar as all-day events. Toggle in Settings > Integrations > Calendar Sync > Sync grant deadlines.
Workflows on deadlines
Build automations like "When grant has deadline in 14 days and status is still Application In Progress, create a high-priority task assigned to the grant writer." Templates are in Automation > Workflows > Grant deadline alerts.
