TormanoSettings > Billing & Plan shows your current plan, your trial status, your usage, and a plan picker.
Plans
Business edition plans are billed per seat:
- Essentials: $35 per seat per month, or $29 billed annually
- Growth: $69 per seat per month, or $59 billed annually
- Business: $119 per seat per month, or $99 billed annually
Nonprofit edition plans are a flat monthly rate with unlimited users:
- Starter: $59 per month, or $49 billed annually
- Standard: $119 per month, or $99 billed annually
- Professional: $299 per month, or $249 billed annually
Free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial, every feature unlocked, and no credit card required. Nothing is charged when the trial ends, so there is nothing to cancel.
What happens when the trial ends
If you have not chosen a paid plan by the end of day 14, your account becomes read-only. Your data is kept. You can still sign in and read your records, but you cannot create or change them until a plan is in place.
To carry on, add a payment method from Settings > Billing & Plan and pick your plan. Billing starts when you buy.
The platform fee on payments is separate from your plan
The prices above are the subscription. If you collect money through Tormano, whether that is donations, invoices, or event payments, there is also a platform fee per transaction. It is not billed here: it comes out of the transaction itself, before the money reaches you.
- Nonprofit edition: 2% per gift. All-in on a card donation, about 4.9% + 30 cents once Stripe’s standard rate is included.
- Business edition: 0.25% per payment. All-in on a card payment, about 3.15% + 30 cents.
Your organization is the merchant of record and pays both fees, because charges run through your own Stripe account. Payments and gifts you record by hand carry no platform fee, and a refund returns Tormano’s platform fee in proportion. Changing plans
Pick a different plan from the picker on this page. An upgrade takes effect straight away.
Managing billing (invoices and payment method)
Click Manage billing to open Stripe’s billing portal, where you can change your card and download past invoices. Card details are held by Stripe and never entered into Tormano.
Usage
The Usage & Billing panel shows a month-by-month snapshot of your contacts, users, storage, emails, and AI credits.
Cancellation
Click Cancel subscription. Your account stays active until the end of the cycle you have paid for, and it does not renew. Your data is kept for 90 days after access ends, so you can come back or export it from this page at any point in that window. After 90 days it is permanently removed.
