Connecting Google Drive

Save files from any record straight to a Tormano folder in your Google Drive.

Connect Google Drive and you can save any file on a contact, company, or deal straight into a Tormano CRM folder in your Drive, so contracts, receipts, and documents live alongside the rest of your files.

Privacy

Tormano uses Google's per-file access (the drive.file scope). That means Tormano can only see the folder it creates and the files you explicitly save or pick. It never has access to the rest of your Drive. Because of this, no Google security review is required.

Connecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Drive and click Connect Google Drive. You'll be sent to Google to approve access, then returned to Tormano. Tormano creates a "Tormano CRM" folder in your Drive on first connect.

Saving a file to Drive

Open any contact, company, or deal, go to Files, and click Save to Drive next to a file. Tormano copies it into your Tormano CRM folder and shows an In Drive link you can click to open it in Google Drive.

Attaching a file from Drive

You can also pull a file the other way. On a record's Files panel, click Attach from Drive to open the Google Picker, choose a file already in your Drive, and Tormano imports a copy into the record. The button appears once Google Drive is connected.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on the same settings page. Files already saved to your Drive stay in your Drive; Tormano just stops having access.
