Keyboard shortcuts

Tormano supports keyboard navigation throughout the app. The shortcuts below work on every page.

Global

• Cmd+K / Ctrl+K — open the command bar
• c — open Quick Create (when you're not typing in a field)
• ? — open the Help menu (when nothing else is focused)
• Esc — close any modal, popover, or dropdown

Forms and modals

• Tab / Shift+Tab — move between fields
• Enter — submit the form (when on a non-text-area field)
• Esc — cancel and close

Lists and tables

• / — focus the search box on most list pages
• Arrow keys move between rows in some tables (e.g. command bar results, kanban board)

Quick Create (the + in the top bar, or the c key)

Use this to create a new record without leaving your current page. The dropdown changes per edition: B2B shows Contact / Deal / Activity / Company / Meeting Type; Nonprofit shows Contact / Donation / Pledge / Event / Volunteer / Activity / Grant.

If you live in lists, learn three things in this order: Cmd+K, the Quick Create + (or c), and the Help menu ?. That covers maybe 70% of your day.
